A cap developed around how team members actually wear their hair. NewGen worked with the customer to create a ponytail-friendly style with a magnetic back opening, selected the final cream and navy fabric combination, and checked embroidery, fit and samples before production.

The customer problem

A cap is not just a cap when someone wears it all day.

Standard caps can be awkward for team members with long hair. The customer needed a cap that still looked consistent with the wider range, but worked better for staff who wear their hair in a ponytail.

Small uniform details matter when they affect comfort every shift.

NewGen worked with the customer to develop the style jointly, including the magnetic back opening, fabric and colour selection, embroidery execution and sample checks before production.

The result was a cap that looked right, felt better to wear and reflected the level of detail needed in a well-managed uniform program.

Quality control

Checked before production, then checked again before shipment.

The approval process included a pre-production sample reviewed for colour match, embroidery and fit. A shipping sample was then checked to confirm the final production matched the approved sample.
